Rainy Day Blues

It has been a very wet spring here in Northern NY. This is mostly good, because God is cleansing the Earth and we certainly need it, especially in preparation for gardening. But the downside to so much rain is a mucky yard and lazy days. We went through a little storm of our own during all of this, we have had to re-home our two dogs as they attacked our birds and killed one of the ducks. It saddened me but I have to protect my flock. I am not waiting long enough to “maybe” break them of it only to have them kill more. The boys were completely fine with it and therefore so are we.

The sun-breaks in our life recently include an amazing camping trip this past week and the completion of my first semester grad school with excellent grades. The boys are winding down 2nd and 5th grades and looking forward to all that summer holds for us.

My husband will be starting a new job soon which will allow for more family time, God is so good! And I’m almost ready to launch my Etsy shop and have just signed on to sell Usborne books again!

I’ve got a growing to-do list though loves, so I hope you have a blessed weekend! Take a moment to remember those that fought and died for your precious rights!
